Funding of cases
You are entitled to free legal advice and representation at any Police interview. Please make sure that you ask the Police to notify us of your arrest or the time and date of any voluntary interview so that we may attend and assist you in relation to any police investigation.
If you are charged with a criminal offence you may be entitled to legal aid subject to the seriousness of the charge and your financial circumstances. Please contact us so that we may discuss your situation in detail and advise you accordingly.
If you do not qualify for legal aid the following is a guide to our charges in privately funded cases:-

The £360.00 fee is only for attendance at Court on the day of the hearing.
In some cases there will be payments that are required to be made for the service of third parties in addition to our fees (disbursements) such as the cost of instructing an expert. Examples of this are where a medical report may be required or a report to calculate the levels of alcohol in your breath/blood.
Not guilty pleas
If you are pleading not guilty and want representation at a trial int eh Magistrates Court we will be able to represent you for a fixed fee. That fee will typically be between £500 and £1000.
Our solicitors have been qualified under CLAS, to practice as Duty Solicitors in the Magistrates Court and the Police Station.
We will agree a fixed fee with you at the outset of the case. The amount of that fee will depend upon the complexity of the case and the length of the trial.
Special Reasons or Exceptional Hardship

In all matters if you are paying privately for our services we will require payment in full before being able to deal with your case.
